How we work

1) First things first. First tell us a little bit about what you need. Feel free to call (714 375-9916) or email us at jdelulio@prtalent.com. Aside from detailing your immediate communications needs, we'll need to know:

length of the project
expected results
budget (our typical freelance rates are between $110-150/hr.)
location of work (can freelancers work from home or must they work out of your offices? Is there travel involved?)

2) Agree to agree. We'll then send you a Letter of Agreement (LOA) that will serve as our ongoing contract. This agreement helps ensure that freelancers who we introduce to you will work through us and not directly with clients. It also details nitty-gritty things like payment terms, confidentiality and so forth. We need to have this signed and returned before sending actual resumes (Step 3). Please note that the first month's estimated fees must be paid in advance prior to the start of work.

3) Now it's our turn. We'll send you representative resumes of one or more freelancers who are the right match for the assignment and are available to work with you. If you need a team of freelancers, we'll provide complementary team member resumes for you to review.

4) Meet 'n greet. Once you select folks you'd like to meet… it's time to meet 'em. We can do this as phone or in-person interviews to finalize your selection, or you can choose to meet with additional candidates.

5) Scoping things out. After you decide on your consultant, we will draft a brief Confirmation of Assignment letter that details the scope of work i.e. tasks to be accomplished; the freelancer's hourly rate; the expected length of the assignment and so forth. We ask that you sign and return this document before the project begins.

6) We seek your approval. Each week our freelancer will complete an electronic timesheet for your (or the direct supervisor's) approval. Once reviewed and approved, the timesheets are emailed to PR Talent and serve as the basis of our weekly invoice to you.

That's it! This process may seem lengthy, but it's actually pretty efficient -- and best of all it helps avoid any miscommunication on how PR Talent and our freelancers work for you.
