Jami heads PR Talent’s New York office where she currently leads full-time and freelance agency and corporate searches. Her experience working as both a PR professional and a Human Resources executive gives her added insight into what it takes to make a successful job match. Before joining PR Talent, Jami was the Director of Human Resources for DeVries Public Relations, a leading PR firm specializing in consumer marketing PR. In addition to her general HR responsibilities at DeVries, she led the agency’s recruiting efforts to staff teams on numerous consumer accounts like Procter & Gamble (beauty, healthcare and consumer products), Gallo Wines, Johnson & Johnson, Tupperware and Sephora.
Prior to DeVries, Jami was the HR Manager at Stanton Crenshaw Communications where she handled recruiting for the agency’s consumer, business-to-business, technology and financial clients. Early in her career, she handled PR for celebrity and magazine accounts at JT Public Relations and then worked in-house as a senior public relations specialist for Pall Corporation.
Jami received her Master's Degree in Industrial and Labor Relations from Baruch College and a B.S. in Public Relations from the University of Florida.
